Can't get the EGT sensor to un-bolt and thus can't get the up pipe out, even though every other bolt is undone. Gap isn't big enough. Bolt's frozen up. AKA not strong enough to bust it loose even with a fuck ton of WD-40. Fuck me

Try liquid wrench, it's like wd40. Once you soak it, hit to loosen. Otherwise, heat it witch a blow torch, that will break it loose.
And where is your gif from?

It's from some youtube channel. Can't remember her name. Just google panda snap and you'll find it.

Yea hopefully well. Just irritating that the ONLY bolt keeping me from being 80% done is also one of that main causes for turbo failure in the WRX's. The useless EGT sensor busts off and shoots through the turbo it you run much more boost than stock. That or the Cat will melt and do the same.

Extend the wrench with a pipe, so you have more leverage.

Put a bolt or 2 back in the pipe and run the motor a bit... As much as it will be annoying to then work around the hot motor heat is your friend when dealing with a stuck bolt..

No back pressure = bad things. a blow torch supposedly helps. As does removing a bolt from one motor mount and jacking the motor up about 2 inches. Trying to do it without that though.

Idk what kinda WRX engine bays you've been looking at, but there is no room for this.

Ah. That would be a problem.
